Maroof who is presently creating sparks with his compelling pastries and desserts hails from Bangladesh with a track record of extensive experiences in the world of Gourmet desserts, menu designing and planning in addition to large volume/high profile banqueting.
Chef Ahmed is equally a specialist in the world of sugar chocolate and bakery products amongst others.
Ahmed comes with a knowledge base from several trainings in Pastry, a BA. In Arts alongside a level 3 award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health ( CIEH)- UK
In his Capacity, Maroof previously worked with renowned hotels such as the Four Points by Sheraton Hotels in India and the U.A.E, other brands in the Middle East and Africa such as Intercontinental hotels, Rotana and Radisson just to mention a few.
He is happily married and speaks four languages; English, Portuguese, Bengali and Hindi.
At the Sheraton Abuja Hotel, Maroof will support and add versatility and inspiration to the Kitchen team operations while offering eclectic and tasteful snacks adding to the dining experience of patrons.
