AEDC tackles poorly wired electric networks in FCT

Mr Ahmed Shekarau, Head of Public Relations and Media of AEDC issued in Abuja on Sunday, disclosed that the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company ( AEDC ) is embarking on a clean up exercise in response to the growing rate of poorly connected electricity wires in the FCT.
He stated that the exercise will begin in Gishiri village in the Federal Capital Territory and will be further extended to Tudun Wada , Dape in Lugbe and Life Camp areas of the territory.

Shekarau said that the exercise was in line with AEDC’s determination to create an accident-free electricity service atmosphere in its franchise areas of Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger states and the FCT. He said the exercise was intended to ensure safe delivery of power to customers and improve quality of supply
